We’re currently working hard on our next project. We can’t wait to tell you about it...

Pixel Juice is a Danish developer of mobile games for iOS, Android and other mobile platforms. Pixel Juice was founded in may 2011 by a team of three veteran iOS, console and PC game developers.

We are currently working on our first game for iOS and Android. The game is named Egg Punch and will be released for free on the App Store for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad on the 1st of December 2011.

We have previously worked on:

Before starting Pixel Juice, two thirds of the team gained a massive amount of startup experience from being co-founders of the company behind the iOS social gaming platform AGON Online.

Team

Lars Peter Christiansen
Co-Founder

Lars Peter Christiansen is our code magician. He takes great pleasure in turning boring code into amazing games. Before deciding to throw himself into another startup adventure he worked as a programmer at IO Interactive assisting in the development of Hitman: Absolution. In 2008 he co-founded Aptocore who went on to develop the social gaming platform, AGON Online. Here he worked as the lead UI programmer on AGON Online and (almost) single handedly coded the entire iOS client. While at Aptocore he assisted Playdead making the engine driving Limbo work on the Xbox 360. Even further back in time he worked as an engine programmer at Deadline Games and helped build the engine that drove the beautiful Watchmen: The End is Nigh.

Sune Jensen
Co-Founder

Sune Jensen is our art wizard. He loves taking his trusted pen and tablet and churning out vivid images and 3D models. Prior to deciding upon the indie game developer path he worked as a lead artist and group manager at NDS for 12 other artists. Before that, he worked as a lead artist at Deadline Games ensuring that Watchmen: The End is Nigh,Chili Con Carnage and Total Overdose all looked fantastic.

Morten Nielsen
Co-Founder

Morten Nielsen is our code surgeon. He sees beauty in the command line and loves turning daunting manual tasks into simplistic automated procedures. While being in-between startups he has been an external consultant at Saxo Bank. In 2008 he co-founded Aptocore who went on to develop the social gaming platform, AGON Online. He worked as the lead backend programmer on AGON Online and implemented the platform’s backend using Python running on Google App Engine. At Aptocore he also helped Playdead improve their build pipeline for Limbo. Even further back in time he worked as an engine programmer at Deadline Games and helped build the engines that drove the beautiful Watchmen: The End is Nigh and the hilarious shooter Chili Con Carnage.
